Tiring Week!!!
There is a lot of assignment to be due soon and alot of stuff have not been done yet.
We thought we had done nicely for our report,but NO!!!! We redo redo redo redo!!!
Dunno redo for dunno how many time.Its so tiring!!! But finally,its done.
SOOOOOO, now we can start on the code and stuff.

This week we had a RFID access lesson.Having the first time to do with some RFID coding.Its quite easy and fun doing with it.Even though is quite easy but in the start doing with the code we encounter some error like the thing does allow us to work and after getting know what is the correct way of starting it, it become quite smooth after that
Long Hour Practical Lesson

We had our very first very long hour Practical Lesson.We get able to contact with almost all the Aeroscout RFID device.
The device we used are LR(Location Reciever),Exciter which this make the whole class laugh as the name is very funny,AeroScout tag and many more device.
The practical we are doing is get to have contact with RFID device and get familar with it from configuration to testing of the device.
Even thought it is quite tired,but overall is quite fun about it,at the least that I learned on how to configure the RFID and knowing how to track the device
Week 3!!!!! EPC

EPC == Electronic Product Code
EPC is Electronic Product Code used to identify each unique product with gobal unique Internet Address.Its is a standard for the RFID

Example of EPC general ID
EPC general ID :
- Header - consist of 8 bits, 256 possible partitioning schemes
- Manager - consist of 28 bits, 268M companies / organizations
- Object class - consist of 24 bits, 16M product types (model #’s)
- Serial number - consist of 36 bits, 68B possible individual items
1st Practical Lesson!!!

After so many week of waiting, finally had our very 1st Practical Lesson.On the lesson we get contact with what we call the UHF (Ultra High Frequency)and HF (High Frequency)reader.And found out that RFID is weak in metal and water.It was amzaing, as I thought that RFID should be strong in that, but it wasn't as what i had thought
Radio Frequency Identification
RFIDRFID stand for Radio Fequency Identification.It is a very new technology to the supply chain even though the technology is since
50's.RFID is non-contactable and need not been seen and be able to collect data.
RFID can have many configuration :
- Active/Passive
- Read-only
- Write once/Read many
- Read/Write
Benifit
RFID had to technology to send very huge amount of data as the product travel through the supply chain and it can be updated throught out every step of the manufacturing product, due to this it can lower the error and vendors can save alot.
Advantages
There is alot of advantages in RFID,firstly many item could be scanned just by passing through,within each tag there will be hidden data source and this can be portable anywhere.Other than that in Passive tag it had unlimited virtually lifetime and in Active tag it could be read in long distance.The data inside the tag could be modified through the lifetime.In every tag it is unique as the ID is only for the Tag
Disadvantages
If there is advantages there is also disadvantages.Its advantages is also it disadvantages.As item could be scanned just by passing throught,some item which are not wanted is also being scanned through which might cause some inconvenience.Other than that,every tag is costly and there is limitation in reading and writing for passive tag.There is currently lack of standard.

It consist of 3 essential element,
- Antenna - used to transmit data
- Integrated circuit - microprocessor used to process in-coming and out-going information
- Memory - store Data
It had 3 type of tag,
- Passive - No battery,Small,Cheaper,Power through radio frequency,Short range
- Active - Battery Needed,Expensive,Big in Size,Long range(up to 1.5km),Life span base on Battery
- Semi-Active - Battery assisted,Combination of Passive and Active
RFID Reader
The purpose of having RFID Reader is to transmit and receive radio frequency waves to and from the RFID tags and it consist of 2 element,the Antenna and Electronics Circuits
